World AIDS Day was the first global health day\, held in 1988. Traditionally\, many cities across the country and globe light up buildings in red as a prominent display to help raise awareness about this continuing health crisis.\n\n\n\nWith support from the San Jose Downtown Association\, the Rainbow Chamber is seeking funding from our membership and friends to light the Circle of Palms in downtown San Jose on the evenings of 11/30 and 12/1. Your donation can be made in honor of a loved one or can be anonymous. There is also a space to leave a comment if you wish. We will recognize your contribution and comments at the end of the campaign. All monies contributed will be applied to the cost of the lighting with any excess contributed to The Health Trust's HIV/AIDS programs.
